Other news is that I just got a job at ReelTime Media!!!!!!

Ok so you have never heard of it... Thats probibly cause its in Australia. Also it only opened to the public a week ago.

ReelTime provides movies and TV shows for download over the internet. Kind of like a video store except you get a file instead of a DVD or tape.

My job there is 'Traffic Coordinator'. I receive digital betacam tapes from studios in the US (e.g. fox, sony, universal, playboy) and I search on the internet for information about the movie, which I then enter into a database. I then find movie posters or make them in Photoshop. After that post-production gets the tape and captures it. I then pack up the tapes and send them back to the US.

Then we do 'product checks'. Yesterday one of my workmates had to watch porn at work.... and got payed for it.

I also seem to be the designer as well. I have been editing photos and creating lots of stuff in Indesign. I was just asked today if I could design the menu system for ReelTime’s TV box (like a Sky box).

So yeah that’s me at the moment. What is the rest of DVPP upto? You guys still got your post-production podge? (I know I do). I will be in Christchurch and Wellington around Christmas, so I will be shouting you guys some drinks.
